Okay - I'm done playing with MLJPD [Multiple LJ Personality Disorder]. I can't keep up with one LJ let alone the several I've tried [one for SCA friends, one general one, one for fandoms, one for Second Life, etc]. I know VA gave me a card saying I'm a few French fries short of a Happy Meal but even I can't keep up.

So... in the hopes of actually reclaiming my LJ life and maybe, just maybe, actually postining from time to time, I'm going to ask anyone who has the slightest interest to find me at my otherplace http://seticat.livejournal.com/. I'll leave this LJ open so things aren't lost, but I probably won't post to it from here on out.

Just realize that 'seticat' is a mosh-pit. Or perhaps a compost heap. You'll find Second Life comments. You'll find Stargate, Star Trek and other fandom comments. You'll find SCA commentary. You'll find fanfic, some of which you may not like as I write a mix of gen, het and slash [heterosexual and homosexual pairings] but not usually about 'bits'. I don't do the really graphic stuff. And I put very clear warnings up front that include which fandom and the type so if you wander in and read something you don't like, is not my problem, allright?

Anywho - after all this, if you're still up for it, wander over to http://seticat.livejournal.com/ and friend me.

And don't say I didn't warn you, one way or t'other.

I remember.

I remember sitting on a friend's living room couch eating oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins which a bunch of other SF friends.

I remember we *all* held our breath until we heard those first words and then I'll always be amazed we didn't blow the windows out of the house with the sound of cheering.

I remember the science fiction that had become a major part of my teenage life merging with science fact that July morning.

I've had fannish interested that have spanned a lot of books, movies and TV shows, but one of my quite affectation is "Firefly/Serenity" in all forms: books, movie and TV. I'm a closet Browncoat just waitin' for a time to come out of the little room with all the coats in it. So when I saw this 'Who Are You' quiz, well, I just had to give it a try.

Okay folks. This is Rowan's open and every day account. yes, it's new, but this will be the general, open postings. The 'seticat' account? Well, that's 99% private posts and 1% fan fiction posts. And I write a lot of... well... I guess 'homoerotica' is the most generilized term. In fan fic terms, I write about 50% slash and 50% gen.

So this is where you should be if you want to read *me*. the *other* account is my Stargate/Stargate Atlantis [and a bit other] writers account. Trust me, you'll be a lot happier here.
